D.C. holds first-ever state fair
August 30, 2010 - 05:25 am
D.C. may not be a state, but that doesn't mean it can't have a state fair. Three local bloggers, one from our own TBD community network, proved that this weekend. They kicked off the first-ever D.C. State Fair on Saturday, as part of Columbia Heights Day.
TBD's Sara Kenigsberg got a taste of D.C.'s homegrown and homemade pickles, jams, pies and other tasty treats. But left the judging up to others.
