Fenty campaign songs compiled for CD!
Ron Moten's greatest hits might be coming to a club near you.
Moten — the Adrian Fenty supporter who brought us what was likely the most masterfully rhymed political-themed hip-hop of the summer — has compiled his Fenty-related tracks into a single CD. Moten says he plans to distribute the CDs in local clubs and to passers-by on the street.
The CDs have four tracks: "Don't Leave Us Fenty," a remixed version of a 1996 Blackstreet song, "5 For Fenty," "U Fenty Huh" and his latest release, "Fenty Win 2010," which is a Fenty-ized version of DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win."
Moten says "U Fenty Huh" and "Don't Leave Us Fenty" are two of the more popular songs, but "people like all of them."
Moten says he's not stopping with this release, though. He says he plans to record at least one more Fenty campaign song and also shoot some music videos for tracks that he's already released.
