September 30, 2010 - 03:58 pm
Four armed, masked men robbed an armored car across the street from the Georgetown branch of BB&T bank at approximately 2:20 p.m. Thursday, police said.
The suspects escaped with money. No injuries were reported.
Police are searching for four black males, possibly operating a black Dodge Magnum, which they suspect was the vehicle driven from the scene. The Magnum was described as having dark tinted windows and shiny wheels, tags unknown.
Police warn the suspects are armed and dangerous. They advise citizens to take no action other than reporting any information about the men to the MPD.
