Barricade situation in Forestville over

UPDATE 8:50 a.m.: ABC 7 News reports the situation has been resolved. The suspect reportedly shot himself in the head around 7 a.m. and his prognosis appears grim. The female hostage was freed and is unharmed. The pair were possibly boyfriend and girlfriend. The man is believed to be 37-years-old. Tactical officers are clearing the scene at this time.
UPDATE 7:40 a.m.: Prince George's County's PIO Corporal Johnson confirms that the barricade is coming to an end. No further details were immediately available at this time.

Prince George’s County police say officers are on the scene of a barricade situation at a home in the 8600 block of Ritchboro Road in Forestville, Md. It’s been going on for about eight hours.
Authorities say they received a call around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday from a resident that escaped from the home. Police say this may be a domestic situation.
An armed man is reportedly inside of the residence with a female. Police do not know the relationship between the man and woman.
The SWAT and Negotiating team are on the scene assisting.
