Taxi Magic will give D.C. cab riders new options for entertainment, payment methods
October 6, 2010 - 08:26 pm
Soon, cab riders in D.C. will have new entertainment and payment options while they move about the city.
Paying for your ride with plastic will get easier. And you'll be able to watch music videos or entertainment news.
An Alexandria company, Taxi Magic, is beginning to install "passenger information monitors" or PIMS on the backseats of cabs.
You'll be able to run your credit card through the device and pay without ever letting go of your card. And you'll get an electronic receipt.
TBD TV's Kathy Park tells you all about it in the video above.
