November 30, 2010 - 05:03 am
A local pinball collector finally has a more public space to display his passion for pinball. David Silverman, of Silver Spring, has amassed nearly 900 pinball machines over the past 30 years, and this Saturday, he will open the National Pinball Museum at The Shops at Georgetown Park. TBD's Sara Kenigsberg got an early look inside.
Admission into the museum is $13.50 for people ages 9 and up. For kids younger than 9, it's free. To play machines inside, it costs extra. The museum also can be rented out for conferences and parties. For more information, go to http://www.nationalpinballmuseum.org
