November 22, 2010 - 05:42 am
WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says it will be boosting service to help people traveling to and from the D.C. region's three airports this Thanksgiving.
Metrorail service is available to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Metrobus will have additional buses on standby to serve the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport.
Metrorail will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thanksgiving Day, opening at 7 a.m. and closing at midnight, and a regular weekday schedule on Friday.
On Sunday, Metro will monitor travel to the Metrorail station at National and place additional trains into service if necessary.
