Kwame Brown's discarded SUV serving as mayor's backup

The original Lincoln Navigator that D.C. Council Chairman Kwame Brown rejected didn't make it too far from the highest ranks of the city's government.
Freeman Klopott of the Washington Examiner reports that the fully-loaded SUV, which is costing the city $1,769 per month, is now Mayor Vince Gray's backup vehicle.
Brown rejected the first Navigator because it lacked a backseat TV monitor and a black interior, according to e-mails the Washington Post obtained and reported on over the weekend.
Brown announced Tuesday that he would be returning the replacement vehicle he was given.
