Arlington unemployment rate jumps over four percent, still lowest in state

Arlington's unemployment rate ticked past four percent in January, the Arlington Sun-Gazette reports.
The trend corresponds to an overall increase in unemployment throughout Virginia. However, the statewide rate of 6.9 percent is still lower than it was in January 2010.
The county maintained its status as having the least unemployment in the state.
