D.C., Md., rank among best places to find a job

The District of Columbia and Maryland are considered two of the top places in the nation for job creation, based Gallup's recent Job Creation Index, the Huffington Post reports.
According to the Gallup data released Monday, D.C. ranked second on the index, behind North Dakota. Maryland ranks seventh.
Rankings in the Job Creation Index were based on nearly 200,000 interviews with employed adults who stated whether their company was hiring, not changing in size or laying off workers, according to the Huffington Post.
