D.C. sees America's 3rd largest employment jump

The United States continues to try and recover from a years-long recession, and if you're living in Washington, a new study shows that your job prospects are looking better.
The Fairfax Sun-Gazette reports that a Bureau of Labor Statistics study shows that the D.C. metro area showed America's 3rd largest year-to-date employment jump in January 2011.
Job growth in the Washington area jumped 1.4 percent between January 2010 and 2011, making it the 3rd largest increase among America's 12 largest metro areas.
Only Dallas and Houston outpaced Washington in job growth. San Francisco and Atlanta both posted declines.
