Fairfax, Montgomery counties healthiest in the region

Fairfax, Arlington, and Loudoun counties are among the healthiest in the region, according a set of reports to be released today, the Washington Post reports.
Montgomery, Frederick, and Howard are considered the healthiest, according to the reports which rank U.S. counties and cities based on how long people live and how healthy they are, high school graduation rates, poverty rates and the number of single-parent households, according to the Post.
The rankings, available at www.countyhealthrankings.org, are similar to ones released last year by the University of Wisconsin’s Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Washington Post reports.
