Joe Theismann: NFL lockout "a darn shame"
Last week, we asked you to submit ideas for what jobs Washington Redskins players should try out while the NFL lockout remains in place.
At least one former Redskin, though, has his plans in order. Joe Theismann, now a TV commentator, NFL Network host and Virginia restaurateur, will spend his time golfing and watching the NBA.
In the meantime, in an interview with ESPN, the Super Bowl champion quarterback has some strong words for both the league and the players, saying that from a fan's perspective, the lockout is a "darn shame."
"It is the single most popular sport in America, its revenue has been up, its ratings have been up, it's fan viewership is up and now there's this dark cloud hanging over it," Theismann said.
