Obamas become first to brew beer in the White House

A mere seven months after the commander and chief held a beer summit at the White House, a new libation story has Pennsylvania Avenue abuzz. According to Obama Foodarama, a blog dedicated to food happenings in and around the White House, the Obama family just set another historic precedent. By taking honey from the White House garden and charging their chefs with making beer, the Obamas become the first first family to institute homebrewing in White House. The president and first lady first served the brew - called White House Honey Ale - to guests at their Super Bowl party last month.
