'Potholepalooza' ends Thursday
April 21, 2011 - 05:42 am
Thursday marks the end of the District Department of Transportation's "Potholepalooza," the agency's yearly effort to repair as many District roads as possible.
DDOT says they filled nearly 5,000 potholes during this year's effort.
Residents were continually asked to submit tips and concerns about potholes and other road hazards that they came across.
Pothole filling will not cease with the end of Potholepalooza, though. The Department will continue to take requests for road repair.
