Cherry Blossom Ten Miler: Road closures all morning
For the second time in a week, a slew of road closures because of a running event will affect traffic in Washington D.C.
On Sunday, thousands of runners will take to the streets of downtown D.C. and near the Tidal Basin for the annual Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run.
The event is one of the highlights of the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival.
Road closures will affect several streets starting at 4 a.m . and lasting until about 11:15 a.m.
Here's a list of all the road closures:
4 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
15th Street NW between Constitution Avenue and Independence Avenue
5 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Independence Avenue SW between 14th and 23rd Streets
Ohio Drive between 23rd Street and Virginia Drive
Ohio Drive riverside and channelside in East and West Potomac Park
Memorial Bridge, including Arlington and Lincoln Memorial Circle
23rd Street between Constitution Avenue and Lincoln Memorial Circle
17th street between Constitution Avenue and Independence Avenue
Raoul Wallenberg Place (15th Street) between Maine Avenue and Independence Avenue
Daniel French Drive SW
Henry Bacon Drive SW
Parkway Drive NW
Maine Avenue between 12th and 15th Streets
