Mehrl B. Brown, Richard L. Thompson charged with crack possession after traffic stop

Two men were charged with possession of crack cocaine Wednesday after Frederick police stopped a car for a traffic violation, Frederick News Post reports.
Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit called for a K-9 that alerted officers to illegal drugs in the car.
Police arrested Mehrl B. Brown, 46, and Richard L. Thompson, 25, and they were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
