Metro considers Dulles Airport express train service

WMATA officials are reportedly mulling a plan to introduce express train service to Washington Dulles International Airport along their new rail line, the Washington Post reports.
The line would run parallel to the existing Blue and Orange lines through downtown Washington D.C., since planners say that's an easier alternative than having trains get stuck behind existing routes that stop at every station.
Under the current route, a hypothetical trip between Metro Center and Dulles will take 52 minutes.
