Shaun Adamec, Martin O'Malley press secretary, stepping down

Shaun Adamec, the press secretary for Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, is resigning from his position, the Washington Post reports.
Adamec began working with O'Malley in 2008 as a deputy press secretary before ascending to his role shortly thereafter. Prior to his work with O'Malley, Adamec was the director of communications for the president of the Baltimore City Council.
Adamec will be joining City Year in Boston, an organization that works in mentoring and teaching.
