Youth activists head to D.C. for Power Shift 2011 conference

About 10,000 students will make their way to Power Shift 2011 in Washington D.C. to demand an environmentally friendly future, Center for American Progress reports.
On April 15, students will take part in the Power Shift 2011 conference to reinforce the grassroots movement, including environmentalism, sustainability and climate change.
The first conference was held in 2007, and more than 5,000 young activists around the country attended. It has continued to grow through the years.
