May 9, 2011 - 08:41 am
Three Georgetown University students were robbed at gunpoint in an early Saturday morning burglary, reports NBC Washington.
At 12:13 a.m. three armed men knocked on the door of a home on the 3500 block of S Street Northwest, forced their way in, and tied up and assaulted two occupants before leaving with a laptop computer and three cell phones.
The incident is the fourth robbery to occur on the 35th section of West Georgetown and Burleith, an area largely occupied by Georgetown students, over the past three weeks.
In conflicting reports, the suspects were described as black males between the ages of 18 and 24. They were between 6 foot and 6 foot 4; two were dressed in black and one in gray.
