How much does Bolt Bus/Megabus cost? Potentially more
The days of being able to snag those dollar fares to New York and Philadelphia may be coming to an end by the summer, WAMU reports.
New D.C. regulations will effectively charge the bus companies $80,000 per year and up for parking. Currently, buses use the streets for loading and unloading without being charged.
Passengers can expect prices to rise, although how much it will cost to get to New York is not yet known. Pete Pantuso, head of the American Bus Association, said that the District is just "looking for money."
