Candace Bushnell: 'Sex and the City' prequel may come to D.C.
Sex and the City originator Candace Bushnell is a woman on the move and says D.C. may be the next best place for the prequel to the famed film that created Carrie Bradshaw.
She told The Daily Caller that D.C. is more spacious compared to New York, which is where the books and films have always taken place.
Bushnell traveled to D.C. on Tuesday to see the Carrie Closet designed by Neiman Marcus Mazza Gallerie and to promote and sign copies of the new book and possible prequel, Summer and the City, part of The Carrie Diaries series, which talks about Carrie Bradshaw’s first summer in New York City.
The thought of bringing the prequel to D.C. seems certain for Bushnell especially after her recent visit to the nation’s capital. A part of it is the fashion, she said.
“The fashion is great, and I think years ago, probably maybe fifteen years ago, I think people maybe thought that the fashion was much more conservative in D.C., but I think the fashion is great. Everyone seems to look very stylish. It’s Michelle Obama,” Bushnell said.
With that being said, ladies, let’s hope D.C. is the spot!
