D.C. Central Kitchen replaces void left by Nutrition Inc. closure

When Nutrition, Inc. suddenly went belly-up earlier this week, elderly citizens in the District may have been worried that their supply of meals would be drying up.

D.C. Central Kitchen agreed to provide emergency assistance in the form of 800 meals per day. The company is known for providing meals containing locally-grown produce and food prepared from scratch.
