Dogs in restaurants: Maryland to allow canines
June 30, 2011 - 12:30 pm
Do you suffer endless guilt every time you have to leave your pooch at home while you grab a nice dinner? Good news: The prohibition on dogs at restaurants in Maryland will come to an end Friday, giving comfort to the best friends of man's best friend and destroying the noses of man's best allergy-stricken frenemies.
Don't expect to be able to waltz into any restaurant with the dog in tow, though. Dogs will only be allowed in outdoor areas, and not all restaurants are able to join in; they'll have to provide written notice before they allow dogs to join their human companions.
