John Wall's first pitch misses the mark
June 18, 2011 - 10:45 am
By all accounts, John Wall had a rather successful first year in Washington.
In his rookie season with the Washington Wizards, Wall put up 16.4 points per game, dished out over eight assists per night and captivated D.C. basketball fans.
He finished 2nd in the NBA Rookie of the Year voting behind Blake Griffin and was named to the NBA All-Rookie team.
Chances are, though, he will not be playing baseball anytime soon. And thank goodness for that.
Wall threw out the first pitch at Friday night's Orioles/Nationals game. It...wasn't pretty. Here's the video from CSN Washington.
