Juanita Maxwell arrested after HOV lane violation
Oh, those HOV lanes. It's one strip of road, completely cut off from the endless gridlock of I-395. So tempting.
But there's a reason why those lanes are there, and sadly, they're not for your amusement. And should you violate the oh-so-sacred HOV lane, whatever you do, just listen to the polite officer who is about to give you a ticket. Because if you don't, this is what happens:
Police say 28-year-old Juanita Maxwell ignored orders to stay in her vehicle, then refused to comply with other police commands. According to the police report, she called 911 and then fought officers as they attempted to place her under arrest.
Maxwell was charged with resisting arrest and false summoning of law enforcement. She also received summons for an HOV violation and a window tint violation. She was released on a $1,250 bond.
This is why we can't have nice things.
