New study: America needs more college-educated workers
A new Georgetown University Center study shows that there are not enough workers with college degrees in America.
And, in order to have a better advantage in the job market, statistics reveal that individuals need to seek a college degree.
Apparently, for the past 30 years, the need for college-educated workers has increased faster than the supply.
While the solution is adding 20-million more college-educated workers by 2025, it’s suggested that America needs to shift back to a global standard.
According to Stephen J. Rose, a senior economist at the Center,
"As a result of our failure to keep up with the demand for college-educated workers, we have lost our number one global position in college graduates and become the number one industrialized nation in income inequality."
