Truckeroo food truck festival starts Friday

Lobster, Korean tacos, and cupcakes in one bullpen–a dream come true. Who needs fancy dining when food trucks are dishing out mouthwatering local eats?
Truckeroo, a monthly festival held from June thru October, begins today at Das Bullpen in Southeast, next to National’s Ballpark and the Navy Yard Metro, reports the Washington City Paper.
The festival, on the corner of Half St. and M St., SE, offers between 20 to 25 food trucks, live music, and free admission.
The festival, which runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., will include Sauca, DC Empanadas, Sweet Bites, BBQ Bus, Dangerously Delicious Pies, Big Cheese, Eat Wonky, TaKorean, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Fojol Bros, and other local food trucks.
