Bryce Harper hated Hagerstown (video)
It's a good thing Bryce Harper was promoted to Harrisburg, because apparently he hated Hagerstown.
Harper told CSN Washington that he was "not too focused" over the past 20 games, or the past quarter of his tenure with the Suns. The 18-year-old added that being in Harrisburg "made baseball fun again."
Bryce Harper, ladies and gentlemen: Don't let him get bored, or else he'll start doing stupid things like showboating (to the dismay of baseball legends) and becoming the enemy of baseball fans everywhere.
One day, perhaps five years from now, when Nationals fans' dreams of winning the National League East are within reach, Bryce Harper will decide that he's bored. And then he'll demand a trade. And then he'll jump off the deep end by saying that maybe the moon landing didn't happen after all, followed by a trip to the broadcast booth to confront broadcasters who dared criticize the almighty Harper.
