Eating while drinking will make you fatter, Fox5 investigation reveals

Somehow the French have lived off this stuff without becoming obese.

A groundbreaking investigation by Fox5 has found that getting drunk makes you want to stuff your face. They even have a punny term for it! It's called "eating under the influence," or EUI, and it's sabotaging that diet you've been lying to people about for years.

"Alcohol can make you feel hungry, even when you're not," reports Tisha Thomspon. "Experts say when you drink, the booze can make you crave carbs." Thank goodness we have these experts to prove something I always suspected to be true, but could never quite prove. I hope they next study how smoking pot makes people crave Chewy Chips Ahoy!

Now let's meet Dr. Howard Shapiro, who coined the term EUI and isn't at all a media hog. Shapiro, a weight loss expert, warns that two glasses of wine contain 300 calories combined, which, six nights a week for two weeks, amounts to one pound gained. "So that means two pounds a month," he says. "In a year, you're up 24 pounds."

You hear that? This isn't the problem. All it takes is two glasses of wine, six nights a week, and in a few years you'll be morbidly obese. The math doesn't lie, folks, and neither do "doctors" with books to promote.
