Joe Biden death threats: Minn. man sentenced to 18 years

A vengeful Minnesota man who hacked into a neighboring couple's email accounts and sent child pornography to their coworkers was caught when he sent a threatening email to someone considerably more powerful: Joe Biden. Although the vice president wasn't in any real danger, it's a relief for Biden, who is not the looniest person in a news story this time.

Reports the AP

Ardolf's campaign against his neighbors began after they called the cops in 2008 to report him for planting what they called a 'wet kiss' on their four-year-old son's lips just days after they moved in next to him....

Ardolf then used his computer skills to hack the email accounts of Matt and Bethany Kostolnik and sent emails to Matt Kostolnik's coworkers and boss — one containing sexually suggestive language, others containing images of child pornography.

Barry Ardolf, 46, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 years in prison, and will have to register as a sex offender upon his release. Eighteen years in jail for a small hacking job and a few despicable emails! That's a big fucking deal.
