NFL Lockout: Vonnie Holliday tweets against owners

The NFL lockout may or may not be over, it's hard to tell. If you listen to the owners — or perhaps a certain media outlet desperate to devote 24 hours a week to football again — a deal to end the owner-imposed lockout is close. Then again, if you listen to the players, you might want to wait before buying those party deck tickets.

Now that the owners have emerged from their cigar-and-brandy-filled backrooms and submitted a proposal to end the lockout, the players' union is working on a response. According to some statements on Twitter, two things are certain: Players are not pleased with the owners' proposal, and the Redskins' Vonnie Holiday is becoming a Twitter superstar.

Shortly after the "deal" was announced by ESPN (who aired a three-hour special on prime time to talk about the proposal), the defensive end and player representative — whose Twitter handle is @therealholliday, as if he's famous enough to have imposters — started an epic stream of tweets.
