D.C. prostitution sting yields 74 arrests

The DC Madam may be gone, but that doesn't mean the world's oldest profession has died out in D.C. A prostitution sting over the weekend led to 74 arrests, some of them at cooperating District hotels. "Operation Off the Streets" began on Friday night and lasted 12 hours, targeting hookers in hotels, on the street, and online. None of the hotels was named, for obvious reasons.
