Sarah Palin documentary 'You Betcha!' to remind America how much worse it could be
Remember that Sarah Palin "documentary," The Undefeated, which came out earlier this summer in select cities, including D.C.? Of course you don't! That's because no one saw that puff piece — other than movie critics, that is, and they all hated it — and now it's headed to a celluloid cemetery: pay-per-view and VOD. Now there's another doc about her, but from a filmmaker who's actually known and respected.
Nick Broomfeld, the Briton behind Kurt & Courtney and Biggie and Tupac, followed Palin around Alaska for Sarah Palin — You Betcha!, which is scheduled to premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival. Among his many challenges in making the film: sitting through her insufferable "Q&A"s, which were staged, all the questions having been pre-prepared.
In the following clip, Palin has just finished spewing her death-panel lie for the millionth time when Broomfield stands up and, despite being told they're not taking questions from the floor, asks her, "Do you think your political career is over?" Watch the rest below.
