D.C. is 10th most economically powerful city in the world

With an economic output of $299 billion, and ranked second in innovation, D.C. tied Seoul for 10th place on the Global Economic Power Index by the Martin Prosperity Institute. This only makes it that much sadder, and infuriating, that we have the third-highest poverty rate in the United States.
