Dulles Airport confiscated almost 100 pounds of drugs last year

Last year, 55 pounds of cocaine, 21 pounds of marijuana and 15 pounds of heroin were seized at Dulles Airport alone, and smugglers have become increasingly creative in their attempts. We know about one man's recent attempt to sneak cocaine into the country via clams, but the Examiner offers a few more examples:

• Pot inside of chocolate, which sounds delicious.

• Cocaine in the cabin panels of the airplane.

• Cocaine inside of religious statues.

Related: Drug mules are desperate for money! As if there's any other reason someone would risk serving a decade in prison just earn a few thousand dollars.
