The Debt

Jessica Chastain stars as an Israeli spy on her first mission — to capture a Nazi doctor accused of torture, and bring him to trial. She and her team get the doctor but something goes wrong, and the three agree to keep the outcome secret. Thirty years later, Helen Mirren, as the older version of the young spy, deals with the fallout. Great storytelling keep this interesting and entertaining and the plot twist is just plain great. 3 stars

Seven Days in Utopia

Robert Duvall takes budding golfer Lucas Black under his wing and gives him a week's worth of life lessons in a small Texas town. A great cast includes Melissa Leo and Kathy Baker, but this thing takes itself way too seriously. Slow and talky and often just plain boring. A triple Bogey. 1 star
