It's official: DC-area businesses are worried. If the country defaults, they need a plan, but even if lawmakers come up with a solution, it could mean big cuts for contractors, federal workers and projects.
The contracting corridor is especially at risk because if the country does default, projects could stop in their tracks due to lack of funding. The Greater Washington Board of Trade President, Jim Dinegar, explains how contractors and local companies can prepare for the worst.
