Affordable Care Act upheld

President Obama said Thursday's decision by the Supreme Court to uphold his health care reform law was "a victory for people all over this country."

Conservative Chief Justice John Roberts sided with the court's liberals and wrote that it's not the court's job to make policy decisions.

GOP opposition was plentiful. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney promised to work to repeal the law if elected in November.

Rosemary Gibson, author of the book "Battle Over Health Care: What Obama's reform means for America's future," offered analysis of the historic ruling on Capital Insider.
