Good afternoon, and welcome to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, where the University of Maryland meets the Naval Academy for the 21st time in the respective histories of these great programs and for the first time since 2005.

A billboard advertising Maryland football tickets overlooks Interstate 95 outside M&T Bank Stadium. It says "Be here for the Comeback," and that's precisely what the Terrapins have in mind today, as they look to rebound from a disappointing 2-10 season in 2009. Seven starters return from last year's team for the Terps, who will be lead this afternoon by junior QB Jamarr Robinson

Navy, meanwhile, looks to continue the success of Ken Niumatalolo's triple option offense, which helped the Midshipmen achieve a 10-4 record in 2009, topped by a victory over Missouri in the Texas Bowl last New Year's Eve, as well as a seventh straight Commander-in-Chief's Trophy (contested annually between Air Force, Army, and Navy). The Midshipmen have 14 returning starters looking to build on that success, led by senior quarterback Rickey Dobbs.

It's a beautiful afternoon for football here in Charm City. It's sunny with a few fair-weather clouds and temperatures around 80 degrees. Navy is a 6.5-point favorite today. The Midshipmen lead the overall series 14-6. These teams first played in 1905 (Navy won, 17-0), and last met in 2005 (Maryland took that one, 23-20).

I'll be live-blogging throughout this one. Feel free to discuss the game in the comments section below.
