After the Capitals unveiled their Winter Classic jersey earlier this month, I didn't realize that the Pittsburgh Penguins had yet to raise the curtain on what they'd be wearing when the two bitter Eastern Conference rivals hooked up at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on New Year's Day.

Until today, that is.

Yes, today the Pittsburgh Penguins finally unveiled their Winter Classic uniforms in a small ceremony at CONSOL Energy Center. The Penguins official website has a full photo gallery for your perusal.

I actually like the Capitals jerseys better, despite my complaints about the red shorts in an earlier post. I'm not fond of the navy blue with light blue trim look on the Pittsburgh jerseys. It looks too much like a rugby shirt your mother made you wear on the first day of school, especially the trim on the forearms.

But that's just my opinion. What do you guys think? Do you prefer the retro look of the Caps or the more nautical look of the Penguins?  Let me know in the comments below.
