Porky Products recalls salted smoked split herring

Porky Products is recalling its salted smoked split herring because of a potential contamination. The product could contain Clostridium botulinum, which can cause life-threatening illness or death. Distribution was limited to six states, including Maryland. Customers are urged not to eat it, even if it doesn't look or smell spoiled, and can contact Porky Products for a full refund.
