Va. Legislature adjourns;Baker discusses ethics, crime, schools
Today on NewsTalk we looked at the just-concluded session of the Virginia General Assembly. Joining us, as we discussed transportation spending, abortion, gun control and other issues, Del. Tim Hugo (R) of Fairfax and Del. Adam Ebbin (D) of Arlington and Alexandria. (Ebbin made news on the show when he announced his bid for the Senate seat currently head by Patsy Ticer, who announced her retirement last week.)
We also spoke with Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker about the ethics legislation now being debated in Annapolis, development around Metro stations, crime around Metro, and the impact of budget cuts on the county school system.
