Today on NewsTalk, Prince George’s County Police Chief Mark Magaw discussed his tenure as the county’s top cop. He talked about his philosophy, the drop in violent crime, community policing, Safe Communities and more. Washington Post chief correspondent Dan Balz talked about the mood of the U.S. electorate one year out from the 2012 elections, and the role the sour economy may play in the race for the White House. We also checked in with the candidates for Fairfax Board chair – incumbent Sharon Bulova (D) and challenger Michael “Spike” Williams (R), both of whom called in from the campaign trail.
