 On today's show we took an in-depth look at some of this week's big sports headlines. Tom Threlkeld of DC Pro Sports Report and Chase Hughes of Comcast SportsNet joined us to talk about the Redskins exceeding the salary cap, the punsishment handed down on the New Orleans Saints for a bounty system and the Capitals' push for the playoffs.

In our second half hour, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton discussed the Trayvon Martin case and the threat of a government shutdown.
