Today marked the 3 year anniversary of the deadly Metro train crash. We talked with David Alpert of Greater Greater Washington about improvements the transit agency has made since that tragic day.

Fairfax County school board Chairwoman Jane Strauss discussed the debate over whether to start school later.

And attorneys for Swaney Bell, the 74-year-old dog attack victim joined us to talk more about the case.

In our final segment, Cecelia Vergaretti talked about Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell's "Governor's Bowl" competition to benefit area food banks.
