Today on NewsTalk, we discussed the extreme weather we're experiencing locally -- and around the globe. From climate change and global warming to Friday's surprise "derecho," ABC 7 Senior Meteorologist Bob Ryan took us inside our wild weather.

And, Loudoun County has given a green light to Metro's Silver Line. Ken Reid, the decisive fifth vote, and Dave LaRock of LoudounOptOut.com joined us by phone. Times-Mirror reporter Trevor Baratko and David Alpert of Greater Greater Washington shared their thoughts on the project in-studio.
