Today on NewsTalk: With less than six months before election day in Virginia's gubernatorial race, a new NBC/Marist poll indicates the race is still tight. We discussed the latest with Delegate Charniele Herring, head of the Democratic party in Virginia and Republican Delegate Tom Hugo, who represents Fairfax and Prince William counties.

Promise Place, a new shelter for homeless youth, has just opened in Prince George's County. We talked with Gloria Brown, head of the county's Department of Social Services and Jim Beck from the Sasha Bruce House.
