Countdown to Arena Stage: The bathroom purse hooks

Having a female artistic director at the helm of a theater has its perks when it comes to said theater's redesign. Like the bathrooms - Molly Smith knows that they can get quite crowded during a 15-minute intermission, with all the primping that goes on. So the bathroom design in the new Arena Stage takes that into consideration: Amenities like extra stalls, purse hooks (seen above) and mirrors opposite the sinks help avoid congestion and cut down on lines. You'll have more time to enjoy the intermission at the adjacent bar.
